Come out and learn the art of improvisation in a safe way. \n2-hour Class \nCome out and do improv in this fun accessible no pressure environment. Taught by Improv U instructor Chris Trovador or a special guest teacher. Learn how to think fast on your feet\, build confidence\, and meet new people. \nA typical class looks like this: \nWe go around and introduce ourselves and say why we are here. We do some warm ups\, scene work\, improv challenges\, improv games\, and sometimes we even do musical improv. You never know what each night will bring. We do let you know when we will be having special guest instructors. \n$10\, cash or card at the door. \nWhat to expect: \nSign in and take your seat\nIntro and goes over rules\nWarm ups and exercises in a circle\n2 person activities/ Group Activities\nImprov scenes with challenges\n“Warm Fuzzies” – go around the room and say something you liked that someone else said or did. \nBefore coming to class: \nWear clothing you can bend and move around in and that covers you securely.\nComfortable shoes you can move around in are also recommended.\nAvoid heavy colognes and perfumes. \nClass Rules: \nRespect the actors on stage by watching silently and applauding loudly.\nYou are invited to perform clean and avoid “blue” humor.\nNo hitting\, jumping on\, or kissing anyone you don’t already have a hitting\, jumping\, kissing\, agreement with.\nIf you feel uncomfortable for any reason just say STOP and we will stop the scene. No discussion or explanation necessary.
